Data Analyst
A leading environmental services provider in North America is seeking a Data Analyst to join their operations team in Hackensack, NJ. The role focuses on applying data mining, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques to identify patterns and support data-driven decision-making across metering, maintenance, production, and finance departments.
Role:
๐ Mine and interpret large, complex datasets using open-source technologies
๐ Identify trends and anomalies to support operational decisions
๐ Clean, categorize, and group data to ensure consistency and accuracy
๐ Prepare and deliver reports using charts, graphs, and dashboards
๐ง Recommend corrective solutions based on findings
๐ Assist in defining new data collection processes
๐ค Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
๐ Perform quality assessments and data analysis from multiple sources
Requirements:
๐ Bachelorโs degree in Applied Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
๐งฎ 1โ3 years of experience working with large data sets and open-source tools
๐ Experience with Excel, Access, and financial databases (SAP, PS, JPE)
๐ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
๐ฌ Excellent communication skillsโvisual, written, and verbal
๐งน Ability to clean, compare, and analyze multi-source datasets
๐ Valid Driverโs License required
