Jennifer Behr introduced her namesake collection of distinctive, luxury hair accessories in 2005. Since then, the collection has grown to include a range of headpieces, jewelry and knits. Jennifer Behr is sold at fine retailers all over the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Le Bon Marche and many more. 

We are looking for a highly motivated Production & Product Development Intern who wants hands-on experience in learning all the ins and outs of the making of our beautiful pieces from concept to shipping to customer. We make everything here in NYC! The internship provides an opportunity to not only get to know the accessory design industry but also the hustle and bustle of domestic production at its finest. This internship is in person – applicants must be available to work at least 4 days per week at our Greenpoint studio. 

Requirements

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite

Prior design/ production experience a plus

High attention to detail

Self starter

Responsibilities

Organizing, cataloging, and sourcing materials

Quality Control and packaging of incoming production units

Assisting in Managing the production tracker

Assisting in the QC/Repair process

Assisting in the Shipping process

Day to day studio assistance as needed

This position will require someone that is willing to travel to the garment district from our studio on a regular basis and help transport production shipments. This is a paid internship.
