Social Media + Marketing Manager for Revival
As the Social Media + Marketing Manager at Revival, you will need to be adaptable, quick to spot trends, and flexible to move across locations. You should be proficient in shooting and editing Reels, photography, and graphic design. Most of all, this job should be a fun way to dip your toe into social media management!
Fried Chicken Friday
One of the main priorities of this job is to promote and Market the weekly FCF (Fried Chicken Friday). It changes every week, with in-season produce, and it is available everywhere but Milk Street. Identify social media trends throughout the week and execute a reel to be posted on Friday morning. The video should be informative, relevant, funny, and on trend. This can be done on Thursdays and scheduled for Friday Morning through the Instagram app.
Photography
As the marketing manager you are also responsible for photographing and promoting new menu items. If you have a DSLR and you know how to use it, congratulations. If you are new at photography and don’t have a DSLR, you can use the social phone to capture new menu items, just be sure to use as much natural light and fun (not-orange) colors in your photographs. Sometimes it just gets too orange with the brown bread, orange chicken, and becomes less appetizing. As new menu items are getting ready to debut, be sure to also post about the menu items that will be leaving the menu.
Event Coordination & Promotion
Every month there are events to be promoted. Pay attention in the weekly OPs meeting (Thursday at 1pm) to gather information on what’s happening and post accordingly. The graphics are meant to be viewed by our target audience. They shouldn’t use too many colors (unless Pride related), they should use the fonts from the brand package (Oswald) as much as possible and they shouldn’t be too busy with different style graphics. Simple is better. You just need to get the information out there.
Other Reels + Post Expectations
You should always be thinking about potential reels to make to engage our audience and remind them that we exist! When a viral meme is going around the internet, try to think how you could spin it to relate to Revival! At a minimum, you should be reposting almost every story-mention, (sometimes the photos just aren’t worth re-sharing) you should be posting 2-3 reels, including FCF, and 1-2 static posts every week! Most importantly, have fun with it. Revival is a fun, energetic brand with a little edge and we need someone to help get that out to the world.
