Photography Intern - Fall 2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Hoboken Grace, every image tells a story. As our Photography Intern, you’ll help capture connection, celebration, and meaningful moments at Sunday services, events, and neighborhood gatherings.

This internship is ideal for someone who loves capturing people, has a creative eye, and wants to grow in their technical skills while contributing to a mission-driven team.

In addition to shooting and editing, this role includes managing our internal photo account and helping select content for social media. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ, and must be eligible to work in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop
  • Enjoys capturing people and candid moments
  • Creative eye for storytelling through imagery
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
  • Must be able to work on-site
  • Must submit a portfolio with resume

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend Hoboken Grace events, Sunday services, and connection events to photograph people and moments
  • Edit and organize photos for use on social media, web, and print
  • Coordinate with the Creative and Events Teams for photo needs and shot lists
  • Manage and maintain our internal photo storage account (e.g., file uploads, naming conventions, albums)
  • Help select photos for social media posts
  • Deliver photos in a timely manner after each event

SCHEDULE

  • 10 - 20 hours per week depending on the candidate
  • September 16, 2025- December 11, 2025

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • $250 to $500 stipend at the end of the internship
