As we grow our online presence, we’re seeking a creative, tech-savvy intern to help expand our digital reach, boost sales, and share our mission with a wider audience.
Position Summary:
As the Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Intern, you will support Marigold and Marie’s transition into a stronger online presence by helping improve brand visibility, optimize social and ad campaigns, and streamline digital workflows. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial opportunity for a student passionate about sustainable fashion, digital storytelling, and creative marketing.
You’ll work directly with the founder and have the chance to apply and grow your skills in email marketing, paid advertising, content creation, SEO, and e-commerce analytics. If you enjoy experimenting with ideas, tracking results, and learning new tools on the fly — this internship is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and optimizing digital ad campaigns across platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, Google Ads, and others
- Support content creation for email campaigns using Klaviyo, applying basic branding and segmentation strategies
- Monitor and report on key e-commerce performance metrics via Shopify analytics, social media insights, and email performance dashboards
- Organize and maintain marketing plans, notes, and ideas using Notion and Asana
- Assist with website updates, SEO best practices, and product listings to improve user experience and search visibility
- Research audience trends, competitor strategies, and creative campaign ideas aligned with sustainable fashion values
- Help document weekly progress, wins, and opportunities for optimization using basic analytics and marketing frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current junior, senior, or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Entrepreneurship, or related fields
- Experience or strong interest in sustainable fashion, ethical consumerism, or small business development
- Working knowledge or familiarity of one or more of the following tools/platforms: Shopify, Canva, Klaviyo, Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, Notion, Asana
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to research, test, and adapt independently
- Creative thinker who enjoys solving problems and trying new approaches
- Comfortable tracking and interpreting basic performance metrics and trends
