What You’ll Do: 

As our 8th Grade Science Teacher, you’ll shape the next generation of thinkers, problem-solvers, and citizens. You’ll plan and lead engaging science lessons that spark curiosity and build real-world skills. You’ll create an inclusive, supportive classroom where every student can thrive—no matter their background or learning style. 

Who You Are: 

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in education You have a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification You’re committed to helping every student succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally You love science, and you know how to make it come alive in the classroom You’re collaborative, creative, and ready to grow as an educator 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

Teaching 8th grade science, including hands-on experiments and projects Incorporating language and writing skills into your lessons Adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including advanced and inclusive settings Building a positive, respectful classroom culture Using data to guide your teaching and help students grow Working with other teachers and staff to support the whole child Communicating regularly with families about student progress Participating in curriculum development, professional growth, and school programs
