
Data Analyst
A leading investment and growth-focused firm in New York City is seeking a Data Analyst to join their expanding Data Team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams to drive meaningful insights. Youβll support investment research, improve data infrastructure, and contribute to the development of tools that power business decisions.
Role:
π Execute tasks like data cleaning, validation, entry, and reporting to support the investment team
π Review market research reports and industry lists to identify potential opportunities
π» Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
π Develop Python scripts for web scraping, data cleaning, and analysis
π Build and maintain dashboards in Grafana for tracking key metrics and system performance
π€ Collaborate with developers to refine existing systems and lead small custom projects
Requirements:
π― 2β4 years of experience in an analytical or data support role
ποΈ Proficiency in SQL with basic data modeling knowledge
π Familiarity with Python (Pandas a plus; willingness to learn advanced techniques)
π Basic project management skills for handling small tasks or timelines
π€ Exposure to Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok (experience building custom agents a plus)
