Classroom Coordinator

Job description:

A trait to have in this role is flexibility. Each day there is a need to go into different classrooms. The ability to adapt and to foresee each teacher’s classroom needs is an important part of being a Classroom Coordinator. You are to maintain a safe and Montessori engaging environment for the children. As a Classroom Coordinator you are assisting each and every lead or assistant teacher almost on a day to day basis. The role of the classroom coordinator for the extended day program is to assist the assistant teachers who are leading the program; and possibly leading it yourself when the need arrives. A classroom coordinator could also potentially serve as a substitute.
