Music Teacher - After-School Program

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to support our after-school music programs. This role involves working with young children in grades K-6, guiding them in their musical education and helping with group activities. The job will require traveling to different school locations in Denver.

Responsibilities: 
• Teach music lessons for children, focusing on instruments and group performances
• Help create a positive, engaging learning environment. 
• Support classroom management and discipline in line with program rules. 
• Collaborate with Music 4 Humans to prepare lesson plans and activities. 
• Travel to various school locations in the Denver Metro area.

Qualifications: 
• Previous Music teaching experience, particularly with young children. 
• Strong musical background. 
• Ability to undergo an extensive background check. 
• Excellent communication skills and patience with children. 
• Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about music education.

Salary: 
Starting at $40 per hour during training. Once training is completed and the assistant takes over their own classes, there will be a significant raise.
