Long Term Substitute Spanish Teacher - Part Time

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for a 60% Permanent Substitute Spanish Teacher position at one of its middle schools for the Second Semester of the 2025-2026 School Year.
This is a part-time, on-site, temporary, single semester vacancy, from January 16, 2026, through the end of the school year, currently scheduled for June 8, 2026, for a 95 day assignment.
Permanent Substitute assignments are a full semester in length, and are eligible for a salary based on the degree level daily rate at Step 1 of the teacher salary schedule prorated at 60% (rates starting at $173.85 per 60% work day).
This assignment is also eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days, and individual coverage for health, dental, and vision insurance benefits, with a monthly employee contribution, during the term of the assignment, or a stipend in lieu of benefits.
In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Spanish PK--12.
OR equivalent authorization in the form of a college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved teacher preparation program and evidence of passing scores on the appropriate certification examinations, while certification is pending through PDE.
