Personal Lines Account Manager
We are currently seeking a dynamic Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team and drive growth through current business relationship management and acting on inbound leads.
Position Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for expanding relationships with existing accounts, as well as acting on inbound leads given. This role requires a highly-organized, customer-centric individual with the ability to understand complex business risks, and a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing book of business, and grow said book through additional offerings and renewal
- Conduct risk assessments, identify client exposures, and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Present proposals, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and close new business
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients through regular check-ins and service coordination
- Partner with Producers to ensure smooth onboarding, renewals, and policy servicing
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and activity goals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, markets, and carrier appetites
- Represent the agency at networking events, conferences, and community functions

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of personal insurance account management or related experience (independent agency preferred)
- Valid NJ Property & Casualty license
- Proven track record of production
- Familiarity with multiple personal lines carriers and underwriting processes
- Strong local network and/or niche market experience is a plus
