1. Role Overview
We are contracting experts in the humanities to support a project focused on analytical and interpretive writing across disciplines such as history, philosophy, and cultural studies. This work involves synthesizing arguments from complex texts, analyzing changes across time periods, and connecting historical events to broader social dynamics. Freelancers will help distill nuanced reasoning for use in advanced AI training.
2. Key Responsibilities
Analyze humanities texts for interpretive depth and argumentative structure
Synthesize themes across time periods, movements, or cultural contexts
Interpret primary sources and connect them to broader historical or philosophical arguments
Evaluate causal reasoning in topics such as reform, identity, and power dynamics
Provide concise, well-structured written explanations grounded in source material
3. Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, or a related field
Proven experience in academic writing, source interpretation, or historical analysis
Strong ability to connect abstract concepts with concrete historical examples
Excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote, detail-oriented setting
