Now Hiring: Math Tutor (Bronx Middle School)

Location: Bronx, NY (In-Person)
Position Type: Part-Time
Target Applicants: College Students

Tomorrow Leaders NYC is seeking a Math Tutor to support middle school students at a Bronx-based school. This is a great opportunity for college students interested in education, math, youth development, social work, or related fields to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

Provide small-group and one-on-one math tutoring to middle school students

Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill-building

Reinforce math concepts aligned with the school curriculum

Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Communicate student progress with program staff as needed

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in college (preferred majors: Math, Education, Engineering, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields)

Strong math skills (grades 6–8 level)

Experience working with middle school students preferred but not required

Reliable, patient, and committed to student success

Schedule & Compensation:

After-school hours (schedule to be discussed)

Competitive hourly pay
