Learn2Code.Live is expanding in Long Beach, and we’re looking for passionate American Sign Language (ASL) Instructors to lead engaging, hands-on after-school classes for K–12 students.

This is a meaningful, flexible opportunity for college students, recent graduates, ASL learners, Deaf Studies majors, heritage signers, and professionals who want to inspire young minds and grow their teaching experience. No formal teaching background required—we provide a complete, ready-to-use curriculum and ongoing support.

What You’ll Do

As an ASL Instructor, you’ll help students discover the power of communication and Deaf culture through fun, interactive lessons. You will:

  • Teach in-person ASL classes using our provided curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and accessible learning environment
  • Encourage participation and build student confidence
  • Manage classroom flow and keep students engaged
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and program coordinators
  • Show up prepared, professional, and on time

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

  • Passionate about ASL and working with children or teens
  • Proficient in ASL (beginner to advanced levels welcome)
  • Patient, energetic, and comfortable leading a classroom
  • Reliable and able to commute to Long Beach
  • Excited to learn, grow, and develop as an instructor

Experience working with children is a plus—but not required. We’ll support you every step of the way.
