Outside Sales Representative

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Outside Sales Representative based in Joliet, IL. The Outside Sales Representative will engage in daily sales presentations, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional customer service, and seek new business development opportunities. This role involves visiting clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our chemical products and services to meet those needs effectively.
Qualifications
•Experience in Sales Presentations
•Strong Relationship Building and Customer Service skills
•Excellent Communication abilities
•Proven track record in New Business Development
•Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field is preferred
•Experience in the chemical industry is a plus

•Daily in person visits with current and prospective customers
•Call tracking with notes and consumption reporting
•Opportunity pipeline – built and maintained for management review
•Decision maker tracking
•Phone/Email cold calling to set meetings
