Laboratory Technician - Part Time

Trinity Consultants Life Sciences operates an IH analytical laboratory that is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for the analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients. We develop and implement analytical methods to help our clients meet their workplace air monitoring and surface sampling requirements.

Our laboratory routinely analyzes samples that contain biologically active pharmaceuticals such as steroids, peptide hormones, antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and cytotoxic compounds. We utilize HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and ELISA technique. The occupational exposure limits specified by the manufacturer are commonly in the range of ng/m3 and therefore require highly sensitive analytical methods. The quantitation limit of several assays is picograms per filter and is therefore a very powerful tool for air monitoring applications. 

SafeBridge is seeking a part-time lab technician to assist our chemists with various tasks in the laboratory. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, have a positive, teachable attitude, work expeditiously, and follow directions given by the Chemist Team. On-the-job training will be provided.

Initial duties will include supporting the team by assembling sampling media. This will require the use of your hands for extended periods of time while working with small pieces. Other duties include keeping the lab areas tidy, operating the lab dishwasher, and receiving and shipping lab supplies and media.   Occasional general office tasks may include tasks such as stocking supplies, sorting mail and scanning.

This is a part-time permanent position, 10-20 hours, 4 or 5 days per week.  There is no guarantee of increased hours, but it is a possibility for the right candidate.
