Music Teacher [Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar]
Camino Music Studio is seeking a MUSIC TEACHER to join our teaching team!
Applicants should be familiar with teaching at least ONE of the following Instruments: PIANO, VIOLIN, VOICE, GUITAR
Qualifications:
- AT LEAST 2 years of teaching and lesson preparation experience with children to adults
- Earned or working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Education highly preferred
- Demonstrate comprehensive ability and experience in preferred instrument and a strong foundation in Music Theory (Knowledge & Experience with other instruments is a plus!)
- Must have experience teaching special needs children and young adults
- Effective communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible and able to adhere to the teaching schedule provided
- Must be willing to conduct lessons both virtually by means of video-communication platforms (eg. Zoom) AND in-person.
- Must have reliable transportation to studio
Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly private lesson instruction
- Private lessons conducted for children through adults and beginner to advanced level
- Report on students' progress and workload
- Advise students and parents on goal setting and improvement, while encouraging fun and inspiration
- Must be willing to volunteer time to assist and participate in annual recitals
- Willingness to contribute to a committed teaching staff team
