Grassroots Fundraising Fellow

Yallternative Strategies is looking for a Grassroots Fundraising Fellow to join our team through the 2026 election. This Fellow will support YallSt’s fundraising efforts by drafting grassroots fundraising content, tracking client results, and researching new fundraising streams. 

Yallternative Strategies is a full-service media and fundraising firm dedicated to advancing Democratic and progressive campaigns and causes. We handle fundraising, marketing, creative, and strategy so our clients can focus on what matters most.

You'll help downballot Democratic campaigns nationwide raise the funds necessary to win and gain experience that shapes election outcomes. This fellowship is fully remote and flexible to your schedule. 

Fellowship Experience
 

• Gain hands-on creative and strategic writing experience by crafting targeted messaging that moves people to action across multiple channels (email, social media, SMS, and other digital platforms)
• Craft and adapt content that captures the distinct voice and perspective of multiple principals to ensure authentic representation and consistency across materials
• Hone your ability to identify emerging opportunities for engagement and impact by analyzing trends
• Build your analytical toolkit by learning how to measure campaign effectiveness and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements
 

• Passion for writing both creatively and persuasively in fundraising communications
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach and eagerness to explore emerging revenue streams
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Responsiveness to changing needs and priorities

Structure
 

• Location: Remote
• Duration: Ideal start before April 1, Runs through Nov 15, 2026
• Commitment: ~50hrs/mo, most projects can be completed around your schedule
• Stipend: $1000/mo
