Student Research Assistant

A part-time summer student research assistant position (10-15 hrs/wk) is open in the MSU Exposure Science Lab in the Department of Family Medicine.  The candidate will mainly assist a research investigator with home visits for community-based home lead dust reduction and air quality improvement studies.  These home visits will take place in Lansing and neighboring cities.   Visits to these sites can take several hours; as such, candidates with large blocks of available time will be given preference.

Specific tasks include:

• Conducting in-home visits
• Setting up equipment and collecting samples
• Processing environmental and biological samples and assisting with chemical analyses
