Job Summary:
Owensboro Community and Technical College is accepting applications for our Procurement Associate position. The position will perform purchasing and payable responsibilities ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The duties/responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform purchasing, requisitions, and payable responsibilities within Peoplesoft Financial System while adhering to all Federal, State, local laws, and KCTCS policies and procedures.
- Serve as Procurement Card Administrator – oversee the compliance with KCTCS Procard procedures.
- Enter billing, contracts, and memorandums of agreements (MOAs) in PeopleSoft modules.
- Create accounting journals as needed.
- Track and monitor utility usage.
- Track, maintain, and tag inventory.
- Assist with Student Financials processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Math, or Business Administration) plus two (2) years of related work experience or the equivalent.
- OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of related work experience.
