Mathematics Teacher

7-12 Mathematics Teacher

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Mathematics Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics content as well as a passion for teaching and supporting students. It is anticipated that this position will be responsible for upper-level mathematics courses.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering effective and engaging mathematics lessons

Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Assessing and monitoring student progress

Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and their families

Creating an inclusive classroom environment

Managing classroom behavior and enforcing school policies

Effectively collaborating with colleagues

Providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom

Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Qualifications

Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 Mathematics.

Compensation

The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $51,453 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits.
