Early Childhood Music Specialist

Jammin With You is seeking motivated, animated and charismatic musicians to join our team of Early Childhood Music Specialists. JWY currently provides music enrichment classes to over 70 daycares, preschools and community centers in the Greater Boston Area.

Our specialists are trained educators with a knack for engaging young toddlers and preschoolers. As a part of our team, you would have the unique opportunity to educate, entertain and influence children in the most important stages of development. JWY’s brand of edutainment enhances development across all areas of learning, including music. Most classes are taught during non-gigging hours, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and provide a fun and rewarding supplemental income for the proficient teacher/musician.

Qualifications

• College Degree (preferably in early education or music education / music therapy)
• Proficiency on guitar and voice
• Previous experience teaching or caring for children ages 0 - 5
• Must have a valid driver's license and a registered vehicle
• Must live in/near Greater Boston Area

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead back-to-back 30min - 45min music classes for students ages 0 - 5 years
• Participate in ongoing training and learn new material quickly
• Perform all administrative tasks relevant to position
