Physics Teacher
At Brooklyn Lab, teachers don't just deliver content — they transform lives. We're a small, intentional school community where every scholar is known by name, and every educator is a key part of why our students gain two to three years of academic growth on average.
We're looking for an engaging, relationship-driven Physics teacher to join our high school team. You'll deliver Common Core-aligned instruction, use data to continuously sharpen your practice, and support the whole scholar — academically and socially — through advisory and differentiated instruction.
What we're looking for:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Certification to teach in New York State or a willingness and path to become certified
- A proven record of academic achievement as a student and an educator
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in diverse and urban areas
- Commitment to LAB’s mission and vision for excellence
- A growth mindset and the ability to work as part of a team
- Comfort with accountability and the ability to absorb feedback for the development of your craft and the scholars in your care
If you're a science educator who wants to do the most meaningful work of your career — in a school that actually walks the talk on student growth — we'd love to hear from you. Apply directly through Brooklyn Lab's careers page by clicking here.
