Accessibility and Disability Services Graduate Assistant
The Office of Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS) is hiring a 20-hr graduate assistant for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 academic year.
The graduate assistants will support both the main ADS Office as well as Testing Services Center. Job duties are as follows:
Office responsibilities:
- Field incoming calls to Office of Accessibility and Disability Services
- Carry out clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, faxing
- Greet and assist visitors (students, parents, faculty, staff) coming into the ADS office
- Assist with organization and presentation of skills building workshops
- Assist with mentoring and honor society activities and other student programing
Testing Center responsibilities:
- Serve as a proctor, courier, reader and scribe as needed
- Assist Testing Center Coordinator with administering exams according to specified accommodations
- Assist Testing Center Coordinator with monitoring Testing Center requests in Accommodate
Assistive Technology responsibilities:
- Assist Assistive Technology Coordinator with converting printed material into digital/electronic format
- Assist Assistive Technology Coordinator with providing training to ADS students on various software and technology
