Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

• High output transfer of compounds with tracking
• Documentation of all work in Microsoft Excel
• Receiving and stocking of laboratory supplies
• Disposal of laboratory waste products

ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE

• Completes daily responsibilities as assigned by labhead
• Adherence to EHS safety mandates

QUALIFICATIONS

• AS or BS in scientific field (chemistry or biology preferred)
• Attention to detail is critical
• Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task within an environment of shifting deadlines and demands
• Familiarity with laboratory balances and practices
• Able to work independently and within a team setting
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Working with potentially hazardous materials, PPE required
• No previous industry experience is required
