Lola + The Boys is a Chicago-born children's fashion brand founded in 2016 by a mom of three who couldn't find clothing as bold, colorful, and expressive as her kids. Today, we've dressed more than one million children worldwide with our signature sequins, statement graphics, and collaborations with iconic brands including Barbie, Hello Kitty, Hot Wheels, and Disney.

Our mission is simple: create clothing that helps kids feel confident, creative, and unapologetically themselves.

As we continue expanding our retail presence across the Chicagoland area, we're looking for energetic, customer-focused team members who are passionate about creating memorable shopping experiences.

Position Summary

As a Store Associate, you'll be the face of Lola + The Boys, helping families discover styles their kids will love while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, exciting shopping environment, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with friendly, enthusiastic service.
• Build genuine connections with families and provide personalized styling recommendations.
• Develop strong knowledge of our collections, seasonal launches, and licensed collaborations.
• Accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by replenishing merchandise, organizing displays, folding apparel, and ensuring proper sizing.
• Receive and process shipments, restock inventory, and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Assist with inventory counts and other operational tasks.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and new collection launches.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred; children's apparel experience is a plus but not required.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for families.
• Friendly, dependable, and professional with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
