Spanish Teacher - Pin FTBL
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to inspire middle and high school students in their language learning journey. Duties
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for middle and high school Spanish courses.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing and formative evaluations, to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
- Provide mentorship and support to students through tutoring, academic advising, and personalized feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives to promote best practices in language education.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that respects individual differences and special education needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to linguistics, literacy education, educational compliance, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Spanish at middle and high school levels, including classroom management and lesson planning expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and special education requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, parents, and administrative staff.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures, instructional design principles, research methodologies, library services utilization, and educational regulation compliance.
- Organizational skills necessary for lesson planning, instructional delivery, assessment administration, and record keeping in accordance with educational standards.
