Valencia College is now hiring a part–time Instructional Lab Assistant to join the Mathematics Department at the Lake Nona campus. This role provides tutoring and instructional services to help students excel in math, while supporting the Math Lab under the guidance of the Instructional Lab Supervisor. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping students succeed and brings previous tutoring or teaching experience, knowledge of the assigned academic discipline, and strong interpersonal skills.
About Valencia’s Learning Support department:
Our mission is to create a learning environment where students are empowered with the tools and services, they need to be successful. We provide a range of academic services. The Math Centers provides assistance to all Valencia College students enrolled in any math course. Services include in-person tutoring.

Additional Information:
- This position operates in a fully onsite environment.
- This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.
