Chemist II

K3 Innovations is seeking an experienced Chemist II to support a leading global healthcare organization in its analytical laboratory operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory scientist with strong expertise in analytical chemistry, chromatography, and regulated laboratory environments to contribute to high-impact pharmaceutical research and development.

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute laboratory experiments using established analytical methods and standard operating procedures

• Generate accurate, reliable, and reproducible scientific data while maintaining complete and compliant laboratory documentation

• Operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV/Vis, MS, and ICP

• Interpret experimental results and prepare technical summaries for project teams

• Develop protocols for more complex analytical testing and support continuous laboratory improvements

• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with GMP, GLP, GxP, and company quality standards

• Present scientific findings to project teams and larger technical audiences

• Utilize chromatography data systems such as Empower, OpenLab, or Chromeleon to acquire and analyze analytical data

 

✅ Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 5+ years of laboratory experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of laboratory experience

✔ Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV/Vis, MS, ICP, or similar techniques

✔ Experience using chromatography data systems such as Empower, OpenLab, or Chromeleon

✔ Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and GxP laboratory practices

✔ Excellent laboratory documentation, data interpretation, and technical writing skills

✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to present experimental findings to technical audiences

• Pharmaceutical industry laboratory experience

• Research presentations or scientific publications

• Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple laboratory priorities

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
