Arabic 101 Peer Learning Assistant

The Arabic Language Peer Learning Assistant will support students in developing foundational Arabic skills and contribute to an inclusive and accessible learning environment. This role involves leading a weekly session, collaborating with the course instructor, and preparing relevant materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a weekly discussion session on Fridays from 10:00–11:00 AM.
• Assist students with foundational Arabic language skills, including reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Collaborate closely with the course instructor to support and enhance class activities.
• Prepare and distribute relevant materials to support student learning.
• Adapt teaching support strategies to meet the needs of college students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Arabic, with reading, writing, and comprehension skills at an elementary to middle school level.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow guidance from the instructor.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not require
