Job Description
Provide instruction and quality control in Subject courses:
- Operate reteaching and mini-lesson session in the Learning Lab during assigned hours
- Communicate with lead teachers and administration about student progress and interactions
- Be available for appointments within a specific window of time on a regular schedule
- Engage with students to establish rapport and investment in the learning process
- Become familiar with all of Subject’s content in an assigned subject area
- Support grading of any submitted work not scored within 48 hours at most, preferably 24, using provided rubrics and Ai feedback
- Participate in norming exercises to ensure scoring consistency across content area
- Provide substantive, constructive, personalized feedback on student work when necessary
- Use established protocols to report any errors or inaccuracies in the curriculum, materials, or rubrics
- Ensure all content meets Subject’s standard of quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in one of the following subjects: Math, Computer Science, French, Spanish, or ASL
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Daytime and weekend availability
This is a part-time, contract role on 1099. Up to 30 hours per week. Hours will be daytime on EST, including weekends. You can set your availability.
