Who we are
At CDP, we are on a mission to solve our planet’s biggest environmental challenges: climate change, water scarcity and deforestation. We believe you can’t manage what you don’t measure – so we run the world’s largest environmental disclosure system. For the past two decades, our team has worked tirelessly to create a thriving economy that works for people and planet in the long term – we accomplish this by engaging the global actors who wield the greatest influence in driving environmental change: companies, cities, governments, and the capital markets.

CDP’s cascading global impact is powered by our tight-knit team of smart, savvy, curious and committed individuals, who share a common passion for creating a sustainable future. It is our people who make our work possible. And we provide our people with a working environment that empowers each individual to reach their full potential: one that is committed to equity; one that provides equal access for growth and development; and one that supports each individual throughout the full employee life cycle.

CDP’s Disclosure Content Team is looking for a Manager to drive reporting on action and performance by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). In this new role, the Manager will work on the development of a questionnaire, reporting guidance, scoring methodologies and related technical materials, and support the wider Disclosure Content Team to ensure that outputs are delivered accurately and efficiently into CDP’s online disclosure platform.

This team is part of the Environmental Impact Department responsible for evolving CDP’s thought leadership and disclosure framework.

Your day-to-day
  • Develop metrics and indicators requirements to track sustainability commitments of SMEs, and the scoring approach that assesses their performance.
  • Draft questionnaire and guidance content, and a scoring methodology, tailored for SMEs and CDP data users in alignment with the SME Climate Disclosure Framework.
  • Stakeholder feedback/research and quantitative analysis to inform SME-related disclosure content.
  • Ensure that the questions, guidance and scoring materials are delivered into the annual disclosure cycle efficiently and accurately, including the oversight of junior team members and supporting the tasks related to climate change, forests, water security and biodiversity disclosure.
  • Ensure that the case management process for queries on the content of the SME questionnaire, guidance and scoring methodology runs smoothly.
  • Build and maintain external relationships (e.g., with advisory panels, reporting standards etc.), and represent CDP externally as a subject matter expert as required.
